Tinker Turner has been professionally in the horse business for over 30 years. His passion for horses began when he was only two years old sitting in the saddle with his mother gathering cattle with his family. He grew up helping his family raise horses and cattle.
Ray hunt, Buster McLaury, and John Latham were some of the clinicians he studied with while in college. He received education not only from the instructors, but from the horses he worked with also. Tinker received his degree in Horse Management and Training from Murray State College. Tinker went on to train many colts after college and showed and judged. He the received an offer to go to Germany to train and show. While in Germany, he showed, trained and judged Europe’s best horses. He won many European championships in pleasure, trail, reining, and halter. He also judged some of the finest horses.
